The Stereo Hybrid HPC 140 Pro has had a complete refresh. The combination of RockShox Deluxe Select Trunnion Mount shock and RockShox Recon Silver RL Air fork delivers, absolutely. It’s a great combo in an eMTB of this standing. In addition, there are larger, more robust bearings and a boost 148 rear suspension. The combination of Performance CX (Gen4) 85Nm and huge 750Wh battery delivers the kind of manners one expects out on the trail. A tuned, angled drive position ensures the very best performance and ground clearance. The Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Pro 750 features better handling than before and revised kinematics. The new geometry and more progressive rear end with Boost axle make for a more potent All Mountain configuration, capable of taking on any trail.

The Bosch Smart System LED controller on the left of the bars provides access to all functions and uses a  mix of colours to identify riding mode.

On the front of the Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Pro is a great set of RockShox Recon Silver RL Air eMTB Approved forks with 150mm travel. Furthermore, these superbly strong and robust forks are a match for any rough terrain. The winning combination of Schwalbe Nobby Nic, PerfL, 2.60″ on both front and rear keep the HPC Pro on the straight and narrow. Stopping power is immense thanks to a fine set of Magura MT Thirty, 4-piston hydraulics, front and rear on 203 rotors.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
