Powerful 85Nm Bosch Performance CX (Gen4) Motor

Powered by Bosch’s most powerful high torque motor, the Performance CX (Gen4) peaks at a solid 85Nm. In addition, the Reaction Hybrid Race features a huge 750Wh battery. This integrates fully into the Aluminium Superlite frame. As a result, this ensures thrills and excitement out on the trails, time and time again. On the front is a nice set of 100mm RockShox Judy Silver TK Air forks with lockout. Just the job, coping with everything on the trails that come their way. Furthermore, ultra grip wide 2.60″ Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres provide superb handling on any surface at any time. These gritty performers are set on CUBE’s acclaimed EX30 rims which readily accommodate a tubeless setup.

A superb Shimano XT RD-M811-SGS, Shadow Plus 12-speed derailleur is super-sweet and goes nicely with a set of Rapid Fire click triggers. In addition, the Cube Reaction Hybrid Race 750 boasts a very wide range 11-50T cassette for immense hill climbing ability. A sensitive and responsive Shimano BR-MT420 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes give very impressive and efficient braking on a 203mm rotor.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?
