The Focus Jam2 6.9 Drifter released for the 2019 season is a little bit different!
As a matter of fact, it’s unique!
OnBike are very fond of these ultralight eMTBs. They only weigh 21.84kg, much less than the competition. Furthermore, they are without doubt THE best looking eMTB out there!
Thanks to a super-sleek frame design, the Focus Jam2 6.9 Drifter offers a slim silhouette. However, not only does it sport a fabulous look, it delivers on performance too.

Mixed Wheel Size
The Focus Jam2 6.9 Drifter is a little different in that it features a 29″ wheel at the front and 27.5″ at the back. The larger front wheel delivers a more precise rollover whilst on the rear, far greater traction. Both rotors are 200mm offering more responsive braking.

At the heart of the Drifter’s is Focus’s unique Tailored Energy Concept (T.E.C.). The down tube contains the internal 378Wh battery, which can be doubled to a full 756Wh with an additional battery, called a T.E.C. Pack.
The powerful Shimano E8000 drive is lighter than Bosch, and can deliver an impressive 70Nm of torque.
Some will say that 378Wh is insufficient, but judging by the popularity of the Focus Jam2 6.9 Drifter and its counterparts, this isn’t in any way putting off both the hardcore eMTB riders or for those seeking a more sedate experience. However, the additional T.E.C. Pack is available if required.
If you predominantly use your eMTB for short after work rides and/or long tours on weekends you will love the system.

The Drifter is an agile performer and delivers huge thrills on the trail. It has some outstanding components, notably:
