The Hub Line is a lightweight hub motor from Bosch with maximum torque of 45Nm. It delivers power of up to 400W. It’s modest in size, weighing around 2.3kg and has a diameter of only 100mm. Delivering an agile riding experience, this unique motor integrates seamlessly into the rear wheel.

The SCOTT Sweep 20 Features the Latest Bosch Technology

Bosch’s new SMART SYSTEM features on the SCOTT Sweep 20. Changes to assist levels are made via a Bosch Purion 200. In addition, all rider information is visible via a bright, colour backlit screen.

Superlite Aluminium Frame

The Sweep 20 sports a superlite Aluminium frame. The Suntour suspension forks mean that the bike is suitable for a multitude of surfaces. Canal towpaths, roads, fire tracks in the forest are all accommodated for. The Shimano CUES 9-speed derailleur keeps things simple and is robust and silky smooth. A set of Shimano MT201 hydraulic disk brakes effectively tame the bike when needed.

A fine set of Schwalbe Super Moto 50-622 tyres provide exceptional grip, traction, and low roll resistance on a multitude of surfaces.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
