   Martin at OnBike is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Update: I bought a bike and it is great, just got a trailer from amazon and Martin put it on my e-bike for me. He also gave me advice to ensure it remains safe to use.

   Highly recommend, Martin was full of great advice as I was after a mid-range e-MTB, Martin did not try to sell me something more than what I need, like some shops do. He built the bike and charged the battery for collection, gave a nice easily understood quick guide to using the Bosch Purion 200 and sent us on our way, love the bike so much, 130 miles in 2 weeks! I crashed and Martin had the bike back to check over free of charge, he a nice, honest person who I would highly recommend using if you are considering buying a bike. Please support local!

A very nice Bosch Intuvia 200 colour display is the perfect on-board computer with a crystal clear readout. The Shimano CUES 11-speed derailleur gears work in harmony with the strong Bosch Performance 90Nm motor, thanks to its ‘tuning derailleur gear’ function. As a result, shifting is ultra smooth. Consequently, there’s no jerky or clanking gear changes!

The quality of the build and attention to detail is second to none. The Macina Tour PX 720.1 is all about comfort. It features a top quality Suntour sprung seat-post and super comfy gel saddle. The Suntour air front forks are very forgiving and absorb all those nasty bumps and hollows. Thanks to the air suspension, they’re even more responsive and provide a nice, smooth ride.

The PX 720.1 features wide Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus 50-622 tyres for puncture resistance and stability. Set on Ambrosia Challenger rims, the wheelset is robust and hardwearing. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes ensure a progressive level of braking, being both effective and smooth.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
