Martin at OnBike is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Update: I bought a bike and it is great, just got a trailer from amazon and Martin put it on my e-bike for me. He also gave me advice to ensure it remains safe to use.

Highly recommend, Martin was full of great advice as I was after a mid-range e-MTB, Martin did not try to sell me something more than what I need, like some shops do. He built the bike and charged the battery for collection, gave a nice easily understood quick guide to using the Bosch Purion 200 and sent us on our way, love the bike so much, 130 miles in 2 weeks! I crashed and Martin had the bike back to check over free of charge, he a nice, honest person who I would highly recommend using if you are considering buying a bike. Please support local!

SCOTT Passage 20

The SCOTT Passage 20 is a simple, hop on eBike with a lightweight frame and powerful Bosch motor. It’s a no fuss, no frills high performer when just getting on a bike and getting out there is what it’s all about.

WEIGHT 21.3kg

The SCOTT Passage 20 combines simplicity, looks and performance.

A great all-rounder, the Passage 20 is at home on all terrain. Great for commuting, or leisure riding, this gritty performer takes in forest trails, canal paths or the less than smooth UK road network with ease. Those climbs, and accelerations away from tricky junctions aren’t a problem as power is delivered by the powerful Bosch SX drive system.

Fully Integrated & Removeable 400Wh Battery

Battery capacity on the SCOTT Passage 20 is more than adequate for just about everyone, bearing in mind the lightweight nature of the bike. The 400Wh Bosch PowerTube integrates seamlessly in the downtube and ensures extensive range for even the longest journey.

Moreover, it’s easily taken out for charging in seconds.

Bosch SX Motor

When muscle power and electric support work in conjunction, you get top performance exactly when you need it. Bosch’s Performance Line SX is a sporty drive unit that is lighter and more compact than all their other drives.

600Watts of power
only 2kg in weight
max 60Nm torque
sprint mode for sporty riding

Pedal faster, pick up speed even faster: The Performance Line SX works at least as hard as you do. It has a reduced pedal resistance of more than 50 percent compared to the Performance Line CX, a narrower design of the cranks and an almost silent motor.

At around just 2kg, the Performance Line SX is Bosch’s lightest drive with the highest power density. It reduces the total weight of your eBike, delivers greater agility and is ideal for fans of a sporty riding style. In addition, the compact drive unit disappears elegantly into the crank area so it looks like a conventional bike.

Great Equipment on the SCOTT Passage 20

The SCOTT Passage 20 comes equipped with a silky smooth 9-speed Shimano Cues derailleur with rapid fire shifters. Changing gear is effortless and precise, just when needed. Suspension is via a pair of SR Suntour NRX32-E Air forks. They come with remote lockout that cope admirably with all those bumps and hollows. The ride is ultra comfortable, yet sporty. A wide range 11-46T cassette ensures great hill climbing and performance.

The Purion 200 display with walk assist function is mounted unobtrusively to the side of the bars. It provides, all rider information via a colour backlit display. In addition, Schwalbe G-One Overland 365 Performance, 700x45C tyres set on a robust set of Syncros rims ensure a good level of puncture resistance. Also, they’re wide enough for superb stability on more challenging terrain.

The addition of a very comfy Syncros Capilano saddle ensures the Passage is an extremely comfortable ride.

The SCOTT Passage 20 offers the very best in Bosch together with a lightweight frame, and superb handling.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
