The Nevo GT Rohloff from Riese & Müller is a powerful, beautifully geared, simple and easy to use touring e-bike with a unique and unobtrusive battery position. Available in a smaller 43cm frame on a 26″ wheel and larger frames on a 27.5″, the Nevo is a great all rounder for many.

Rohloff 14-speed Gearing

At the heart of this top of the range, gritty touring ebike is the Rohloff gearing. Its huge transmission ratio is over 520%. Electronic Rohloff E-14 Shifting System

The new E-14 from Rohloff synchronises perfectly with the Bosch eBike system.

One push of a button is all it takes to automatically reduce motor force upon the transmission and shift the SPEEDHUB. Furthermore, if the button is held down, the E-14 shifting system will shift 3-gears at a time in sequence, through all 14 gears if so desired. In addition, once the sensors note the cyclist has become stationary, the E-14 system will automatically shift to a pre-programmed gear to start off again.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
