The Orbea Wild HT 20 is a high spec hard tail eMTB with a difference. It boasts a plethora of features and high end components.

As a high quality hard tail electric mountain bike, the Wild HT is hard to beat on both performance and components. Bosch’s Performance CX (Gen4) motor powers this agile eMTB, and couples with a large and fully integrated 500Wh battery. It’s 29er Maxxis Minion DHF 2.60″ tubeless ready tyres provide great rolling momentum as well as superb traction. In addition, they provide a very stable yet agile ride on even the most demanding trails. They’re light, fast, and give consistent handling at all times.

Great Performance On and Off the Trails

One of the main features of this superb eMTB is its FOX 34 Float Performance forks. Not found on other eMTB hardtails, the FOX is a great addition and makes for a much smoother and responsive ride. The 15 x 110 mm thru axle makes for easy access wheels, and provides strength and resilience under all conditions. A super light alloy frame ensures reliable and resilient handling together with a high degree of maneuverability. The Shimano XT 12-speed derailleur is again high spec, and provides ultra smooth gear shifting. The 11-51T Sun Race cassette provides a huge range of gearing to combat every eventuality. It’s more than ample for every climb. Shimano MT401 hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful and controlled braking actions.

The PURION display from Bosch features on the Orbea Wild HT 20, and sits unobtrusively on the left-hand side of the handlebar, totally out of harms way. Its large, no fuss crystal clear display is easy to read and provides all necessary information for the rider.

The addition of a dropper seatpost adds further to the joy of this very special eMTB.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
