Built from Orbea’s OMR carbon with strategically shaped absorption zones, the frame provides vertical flex to smooth out rough terrain. Power and Long Range

At the heart of the ORBEA Denna M40 Road is Shimano’s EP801 (RS Gen2 RC) mid-drive motor, optimised for gravel usage. Delivering up to 85Nm of torque, the power delivery feels natural and controllable, even on loose surfaces. Interestingly, the rider has a choice of modes, Gravel or Gravel+ of which both are customisable via Shimano’s e‑Tube smartphone app. This feature facilitates fine tuning and traction control.

A compact internal 420Wh battery achieves up to approximately 3,500m of climbing in Eco mode. This offers an impressive energy-to-weight ratio. Also, riders can extend range further with an optional 210Wh Range Extender. It is cleverly disguised as a water bottle that mounts on the frame.

Built-in sensors, compatibility with Garmin devices, and optional Shimano EN600 display let you monitor and customise performance on the fly. These features enhance your time with the ORBEA Denna M40 Road.

A Shimano CUES 11-speed derailleur provides smooth and relatively silent shifting. It couples with a wide range 11–50T cassette that handles steep climbs and flat sprints efficiently. How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?
