Powered by Bosch’s high torque 85Nm Performance CX drive, the Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 800 overcomes every challenge with ease. Furthermore, a long range, fully integrated 800Wh Bosch PowerTube ensures extensive rides that go on for miles and miles.

A true all-weather eBike, the CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 800 has powerful Shimano XT BR-M8120 hydraulic disc brakes. Biting on 180mm rotors, the Hybrid EXC 800 has immense stopping power.

Components on the Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 800 are exceptionally high. Gearing is via a superb Shimano XT RD-M8100-SGS, ShadowPlus, 12-Speed derailleur. Also, thanks to Shimano Deore Rapid Fire Plus shifters, changing gear is a breeze and effortless. A large 10-51T Shimano cassette facilitates great hill-climbing. It’s even better, especially with Bosch’s CX motor as the driving force.

Comfort is a priority on the Kathmandu Hybrid EXC.

There’s fine attention to detail that offers the rider both comfort and safety. Moreover, a fabulous set of Fox 34 Float Sport AWL 100mm forks provide supreme response and comfort. They ensure a hugely comfortable and smooth ride.

In addition, a suspended seat-post and comfy gel saddle enhance the ride further. Powerful lights front and rear ensure visibility at all times. The Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyres are puncture resistant, and offer good levels of protection. How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
