A lighter touring bike means you can take more with you, but low weight is no good without strength. That’s why CUBE used their tried-and-tested C:62® carbon. Moreover, this material builds a frame structure that combines load-bearing capacity with comfort and ride handling.
The CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 exemplifies this innovation. It has a future-proof UDH gear hanger, advanced internal cable routing and Boost front and rear axles. Thus, the CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 is both elegant and easy to live with.
The rigid carbon fork on this electric hybrid is light and responsive. The rear carrier accepts a multitude of CUBE’s ‘click-on’ luggage. Add the 400Wh battery, and it’s the complete package for lightweight hybrid touring.
Bosch SX Motor
When muscle power and electric support work in conjunction, you get top performance exactly when you need it. Also, Bosch’s Performance Line SX is a sporty drive unit that is lighter and more compact than all their other drives. It perfectly complements a CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid configuration.

Pedal faster, pick up speed even faster: The Performance Line SX works at least as hard as you do. It has a reduced pedal resistance of more than 50 percent compared to the Performance Line CX. Additionally, it features a narrower design of the cranks and an almost silent motor.
At around just 2kg, the Performance Line SX is Bosch’s lightest drive with the highest power density. It reduces the total weight of your eBike and delivers greater agility. This makes it ideal for fans of a sporty riding style. In addition, the compact drive unit disappears elegantly into the crank area, so it looks like a conventional bike.

Bosch’s new SMART SYSTEM features on the CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid C:62. A Kiox 500 display sits centrally on the bars, providing access to all power levels at the push of a button. Its colour background is easy to read. Also, it displays the charge status of the battery and other metrics.
High Quality Components
Shimano Deore BR-M6100 2-piston brakes tame the bike when required and act responsively and effectively. Gearing is via a Shimano XT 12-speed system for durability and smooth changing. The wide range 11-51T cassette mean easy hill climbing no matter the incline.
A set of Schwalbe G-ONE Overland, Kevlar tyres ensure low rolling resistance and optimise treadwear and traction. In addition, they’re puncture resistant too!
