The Riese & Müller Homage4 GT Vario is the step-through version of the famous Superdelite. In combination with the low step-through, the sporty chassis enables the Homage4 to be an ultimate performer in everyday life. In addition, the ultra-rigid frame ensures superb riding characteristics, even at high speeds.

It is characterised by very individual lines and styling, and is complemented by an enviable build that oozes quality. Strong and assertive, the Homage4 GT Vario has a rugged longevity and presence.

The Homage4 GT Vario uses the world famous Enviolo (formerly known as NuVinci) gearing for an unrivaled off road experience. Enviolo is unlike conventional transmissions that have a fixed number of gear ratios. Instead, the continuously variable transmission has an unlimited number of ratios (within its particular ratio range) from low to high. Virtually wear and maintenance free, the Homage4 GT Vario gearing is silky smooth, and easily operated by a twist grip on the handlebar. The Homage4 uses the very latest Enviolo technology via its award winning N380 unit, further developed on its predecessor the N360.

Bosch’s Smart System facilitates the inclusion of the Purion 200 display that provides all rider information at a glance.

Built to last, the Homage4 is a sturdy and strong performer. Its highly durable Schwalbe Super Moto-X 62-584 Reflex tyres adorn Rodi Tryp35’s on 27,5″” rims for superb handling over all types of terrain. This fully kitted electric bike uses high illumination Supernova M99 lamps on the front and rear. Security is included via an anti-theft ABUS Bordo Plus Alarm lock. This uses the same key as the battery pack. Strong braking is provided via Magura MT4 hydraulic discs, effective and responsive.

Homage4 GT Vario: A Full Suspension Step Through

The Homage4 GT Vario’s front suspension comes as standard with SR Suntour Mobie 34’s, 100 mm travel, air shock and full lockout. The rear shock is a Suntour RS-19, fully adjustable to match the needs of any terrain, and provides an ultra comfortable ride. Furthermore. a powerful Bosch Performance CX (Gen4) motor and huge, fully integrated 625Wh battery as standard round off what is a truly comfortable and accommodating ride.

Multiple Options, including the ‘GX’ package

The Homage4 GT Vario offers many different specification options. Worthy of note is the ‘GX’ package which transforms its already multi-terrain ability into an even more gutsy performer. Schwalbe Johnny Watts tyres allow even more off road ability. Centrally flat studding on the tyre facilitates a low rolling resistance on the flat. For more demanding terrain, shoulder studs on the outer edge guarantee exceptional grip, especially when cornering.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
