SCOTT Patron eRIDE 920
The SCOTT Patron eRIDE 920 is a 160mm travel full suspension eMTB with huge appeal. The all-new design is a system optimised for all day trail riding. Supreme integration and painstakingly chosen geometry pair with a powerful Bosch drive unit to deliver much more than a great ride. Instead, what you get is a sublime experience both up and down the most demanding terrain, time and time again.
Patented Suspension Integration
The unique design of the frame that facilitates the rear shock allows a greater and more direct power transfer. Lateral movement is less and hence more efficient. In addition, much larger bearings feature on the seat tube pivot. This results in greater strength as well as reducing unnecessary motion. Furthermore, this new technology and design allows lower mounting points for motors and battery placement, and as such, a much lower centre of gravity. As a result, the bike benefits from better handling and has a more stable feel.
The Patron eRIDE 920, has its motor vertically positioned and supported from underneath. The frame acts like a nest with the motor cradled on top for a natural support. As a result, the motor is low and centered to improve weight distribution and handling.
Easy Shock Access
Accessing the shock via the top tube area is facilitated through a hatch. By rotating the dial with fingers or a coin, it will unlock the mechanism and gives access to the shock. This makes it easy to adjust rebound, compression, shock pressure, and for installing or replacing the cable for SCOTT’s TwinLoc Suspension System.
TwinLoc Suspension System
The TwinLoc Suspension System is a proprietary SCOTT Suspension System. Above all, it allows a rider to control a bikes suspension performance and geometry simultaneously.
TwinLoc helps manage the sag effect in several ways. Most systems only increase low-speed compression in an effort to gain pedaling efficiency. TwinLoc allows changing compression damping, but also to change the spring curve, dynamically altering the geometry of the bike. In Trail mode, the shock is not only firmer, but has dynamically less travel. The bike sits higher, maintains a steep seat angle for those climbs, and becomes more agile. A full lockout mode ensures going up in the most efficient manner possible.
Being able to switch from mode to mode depending on a trails profile at the push of a lever is a feature unique to SCOTT.
Integrated cables
Everyone likes a tidy cockpit rather than a nest of cables. The design of the Patron allows the cables to flow under the bar and around the sides of the stem before disappearing into the headset. Integrated parts keep it clean and efficient. There are no bends or kinks in the cables.
LED Integrated Light
The Patron eRIDE 920 comes with both front and rear mudguards. They are tailor made for a clean and perfect adjustment. For optimal security, the rear mudguard comes with an integrated LED light that is powered directly by the motor battery. A cable is already routed, and a plug mounted on the handlebar for a front light if required. In addition, a range of accessories are available such as a kickstand, a rear rack or an action camera mount.
