The E-Horizon Edition is sensible and straightforward in design. It’s front forks are strong yet versatile. They cope easily with everyday bumps to ensure a smooth and even ride. The Shimano Deore 10-speed gearing works extremely well and provides excellent hill climbing. Hydraulic disc brakes also from Shimano ensure responsive and effective braking when required.

The wheels on the E-Horizon Edition offer longevity, strength and stability. Each wheel comprises a quality Shimano hub and Ryde Rival rims for real strength and resilience. The whole package is first class, and provides a reliable and strong wheel. Add to that a 47c Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyre with puncture resistance and you have a really nice, confident and comfortable ride ahead.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
