This versatile folder with step through styling has strength and elegance with a big heart. The combination of a 36V battery and 250W motor give this great little mover bags of torque to aid starting on an incline. The full mudguards and chain guard give the Quartz the style for town and country use.
The torque sensor pedal assist provides 4 levels of power from the motor when the rider needs it most. The sensor detects the pressure on the pedals and inputs power accordingly. When going uphill or wanting to increase speed on the flat, the harder the pedals are pushed the more power is applied.
This system is ideal for the leisure cyclist, making hills easier and yet still allowing the rider complete control of the bicycle.
A new feature for the Quartz is the addition of REGENERATIVE capabilities to recharge the battery when back-pedaling. This allows the rider to use the motor to brake when going downhill and also put back power into the battery at the same time giving greater distance in hilly terrain.
